LA NOCHE Y EL BOSQUE

La noche está oscureciendo,

ramas crujientes entonan su salmo de nostalgia,

ni un soplido de besos se posa en mi mejilla,

neblinas de soledad me rodean;

el bosque solitario en la noche

escupe ramas de pena en mis pisadas,

se asfixia la ilusión en las ramas resecas de mi piel,

¿Quién descifrará los pentagramas de pena

que en este bosque de dudas me asalta?

¿Quién morderá el gatillo del polvo conmigo?

Un enjambre de demonios cría la soledad

y sus voces oscuras quieren destripar mis luces,

pero en este bosque, sus ramas caídas

y sus neblinas espesas de desencanto

no perforarán mis ganas de luchar, de vivir y existir.

Vivo a pesar de las sombras.

THE NIGHT AND THE FOREST

 

 

The night is getting dark around me

crackling branches sing their psalm of nostalgia,

not a blow of kisses lands on my cheek,

mists of loneliness surround me;

the lonely forest at night

spits branches of sorrow in my footsteps,

the illusion suffocates in the parched branches of my skin,

Who will decipher the staves of sorrow

that assails me in this forest of doubts?

Who will bite the dust trigger with me?

 

A swarm of demons breeds loneliness

and their dark voices want to gut my lights,

but in this forest, its fallen branches

and its thick mists of disenchantment

they will not pierce my desire to fight, to live and exist.

I live despite the shadows.
